Farrar, Melissa Sue

It is with broken hearts we announce the sudden passing of Melissa Sue Farrar on Sunday, January 16th, 2022 in her 43rd year.

She was born on August 18th, 1979 in Meaford, Ontario.  Beloved Mother, Daughter, Sister and Aunt. Melissa’s life changed the day her son Gage was born, as a Mother’s love does.  He meant the world to her.

She will be deeply missed by mother Cindy Dillon, step father Alberto and her father Gerry Farrar (Cathy). Much loved sister of Sarah, Brooke and Jordan Dillon and wonderful aunt to nephew Brody and niece Leighton.  She will be missed by her uncles and cousins. Melissa was predeceased by her grandparents Audrey & Ernest Farrar and by her great grandparents Marion and Cecil Dillon.

Melissa enjoyed swimming and skating in her younger years. She was well known for her infectious smile and laugh.  A smile and laugh that could light up anyone’s heart she talked to.  Her ability to see the good in everyone was one of her greatest qualities.  Taken much too soon.

“To my dearest family, some things I’d like to say but first of all that I would like to let you know I arrived okay. I’m writing this from heaven where I live with God above. Here there are no tears of sadness; here is just eternal love”.

A private family service will be conducted at the Ferguson Funeral Home in Meaford.

As your expression of sympathy donations will be gratefully accepted to C.A.M.H. in Melissa’s memory and may be made through the Ferguson Funeral Home, 48 Boucher St. E., Meaford, ON   N4L 1B9 to whom arrangements have been entrusted.   www.fergusonfuneralhomes.com

I am heart broken reading this, Melissa was such a light through my teen/young adult years. We caught up here and there as life can get busy but time didn’t matter, it was like we never skipped a beat when we saw each other.
Melissa could sing, make you smile and appreciate the little things in life.
My sweet friend I hope your dancing and at peace. You will never be forgotten, as you left a mark on anyone lucky enough to have met you. RIP sweet angel until we meet again!
my condolences to the whole family!!
