Hill, Lynda June

Lynda passed away peacefully at the Meaford Hospital with her daughter Tracy by her side on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at the age of 80.

Born on August 12, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Robert Henry Seeley and Margaret (nee Forbes) Seeley.

Lynda was born and raised in Toronto and later moved to Base Borden where she enjoyed working for many years.  In 1990 she moved to Meaford, this quickly became home and she loved being part of the community.  Lynda then moved to Thornbury and enjoyed living with her daughter Tracy when she required a little bit of extra support. Family meant the world to Lynda and was a very important part of her life.  Her great great nephew Wyatt has brought her much joy recently during challenging times. Lynda will be remembered for her strength, warmth and quiet care she has shown to those around her.

As per Lynda’s wishes, cremation will take place and a private family gathering will be held at a later and warmer date.
