Ireland, Donna Lorraine

Born in Brampton on February 18, 1952, Donna, a resident of Meaford, passed away following an illness at the Meaford Hospital on Tuesday October 8, 2019 at the age of 67.

She is survived by her mother Gladys (nee Caine) of Meaford and was predeceased by her father John Laverne Ireland in 2009.

Donna will be recalled as a much loved mother by her son James Ireland of Meaford and his partner Marissa Muzzell and remembered also by her life long friend Gary Chynne of Toronto.

She will be the sadly missed grandmother of Haley, Keelin and Ethan.

Donna was a dear sister of Steven (Jo) of Guelph, Jim (Dawn) of Barrie, and Shelley of Markham and was predeceased by her sister Sally Ireland in May of 2019.

She will be fondly remembered also by her several nieces and nephews and their families.

Cremation has taken place and Donna’s family will share in a private gathering to celebrate her life with dear friends.  Donna’s cremated remains will be interred with her father in Nashville, Ontario at a later date.

Sincere thanks are extended to the doctors and staff at Meaford Hospital for their care and attention and compassion during the time of Donna’s illness and passing.
