Dear Denise and family – Sarah and I were so sorry to hear the news of Gerry’s passing. He was a wonderful guy. I’ll remember him as being a very kind person – he was sure great to me when we first moved to Ontario.

I’ve also never met anyone as passionate about a hobby as Gerry was about fishing!

    Keeping you in our thoughts.

Sorry to hear of Mr. Rand’s passing. He was my science teacher in 1988. He was kind, witty and loved to talk about fishing. What I remember most was the time our class spent on a local stream, studying the trout he loved so much. I wonder how many students he inspired to care about nature, or pursue a career in environmental science. I’m sure I’m one of many! Rest in Peace Mr. Rand – I hope the fish are biting where you are.
