    Dear Christine,

We were so sorry to hear about Mark. We first met Mark playing squash in the late 80’s and he and Quentin had a mutual friend from Catholic school days. We always enjoyed talking with him throughout the years.

    Thinking of you…..

Christine…. I just heard this awful news. I am very sad as Mark was like my brother for so many years, we even shared the same birthday … he was great friend since his entire family arriver in Toronto . We went to school together at Blessed Trinity , Brebeuf, Western and on…..He tutored me every year in math and I would still be in grade 10 math if not for Mark’s teaching skills and generosity. Smartest guy I ever knew in high school !!! One of the nicest people one could ever know and I am so sorry for your loss…..Even though our paths have not crossed for a while, I can tell you I am smiling about all the fun , great times experiencing many first’s together, good and bad…. just so thankful for having him as a friend….he will be missed by everyone who knew him…. Prayers and thoughts to you and the entire Collins family. Rem

Dear Christine and all Collins and Leech and great family of friends. I and Mary Lynn and Laura Grace and all Clan Cosgrove send condolences on Mark’s passing. He the sweet man, brother and great friend and companion. He was a stalwart heart and a great mind. Hands of a great carpenter and woodworker. A great teamate on the sports field. The community is poorer for his loss and comments to the editor. He loved life and it shone out. He bore with courage all the trials with your great love and assistance. Thanks for caring for my friend. Sorry for your loss.

    Christine,
I was saddened to hear of Mark’s sudden death. Far too early for such a vibrant person. A childhood memory came to me when I heard the news: a bunch of us kids were playing Hide n’ Seek in the basement laundry room at his parents’ house in Forest Hill. I remember we had so much fun. Shortly after this event, his family moved north to the Bayview area in TO. We lost touch until I met Mark and you at the Owen Sound Farmer’s Market in late 1989. You and he used to help Freeman Boyd at his stall. My heartfelt condolences to you and his family.
