Thompson, Alfred Ronald 'Ronnie'
Ronnie Thompson passed away unexpectedly at Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at the age of 75.
He was predeceased by his parents William and Olga (nee Young) Thompson, and by his sister Jessie Field.
Ronnie was predeceased by his beloved wife Sheila Thompson.
He was the proud father of Shane Thompson, Sandra (Richard) Crowhurst and Tina (Robert) Clarke.
Ronnie was the dear brother of Ruth Wheildon (late Russell), David Thompson, Doris Murray (late Eric Pridham), Gordon Thompson (Roxanne) and George Thompson.
He will be remembered fondly by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and their families.
Ronnie spent many years on the road trucking, when he wasn’t trucking, he was fishing.
Family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 2 until 4 p.m.
