LeClair, Allan Frederick 'Al'

Al LeClair, born on May 18, 1950, in Sarnia, Ontario, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2024, in Meaford, Ontario, at the age of 74.

A man of deep spirituality and a heart full of kindness, Al always did his best in everything he undertook. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Jerid LeClair and his wife Vidya, and their daughter, Al’s cherished granddaughter, Jazyra. Al is also survived by his brothers Dave and his wife Joan, Peter, and by his sister Julie and her husband Larry Crowe, and also by many extended family members who held him dear.
Al’s life was enriched by his love for music, especially his passion for playing the drums. He found great joy in spending time with Jazyra, often playing and creating moments that will be treasured forever. Known for his humour and wisdom, one of his favorite sayings was, “You can’t get there from here.”
In keeping with his wishes, Al will be cremated. His family will honor his memory privately, cherishing the legacy of love and warmth he leaves behind.
