
Ellis (nee Bolton), Audrey Marie
Audrey passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family at the Wiarton Hospital on Friday, February 27, 2026 at the age of 79.

Born in Markdale on January 27, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Agnes (nee Thomson) Bolton.
Audrey was predeceased by her beloved husband Ronald Ellis in 2010.
She will be missed by her son Steven Ellis (Krystyne), and daughters Patsy Menard and Jennifer Johnson (Walter).
Audrey was the most loving, cherished and proud grandma and great grandma to her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was the dear sister of Florence Sylvest (late Larry) and Tom Bolton (Sherry), and sister-in-law of Leona White (Larry), and was predeceased by her siblings Shirley, Betty, Brian, Allan, Dave, Bob, Rick and Keith and brother-in-law Ken Ellis (late Muriel). Audrey will be remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews and their families.
Family meant the world to Audrey and she was proud of her family. She was a hard worker and spent many years working at Amerock, Globe Mills and Stanley Knights. Ron and Audrey worked together as the superintendents at the William Street apartments; they kept the apartment buildings well maintained and clean. For fun Audrey enjoyed going to bingo and the casino with family and friends.
A celebration of Audrey’s life will take place at Beautiful Joe Park in Meaford on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 1 o’clock.

Im so sorry for your loss . She will for sure be missed . I have awsome memories with Audrey and always felt like part of the family everytime I spent the night with Jen. Everytime I would have a conversation with her everyrime I was there she was always helping aomeome out . I wish I had the chance to see her before she passes . RIP Audrey, prayers for you all as you get through this difficult time.

Agreed Second Mom.. She there for Everyone n More. She had such good life as what I saw n see. ..Lucky her to have sooo Many people n family along her way. Ive missed before I left Meaford. We had such good visits n I know she would insist on being there with Us whereever we were. . I member U took picture Mom n I in ur doorway of house. Couple pics. Before I left..I ve been sad ever since wanting to stay with U Alll as U know Jen. Im happy U alll had chance of her living with u n with Pasty. Means

Jenn and Patsy, I am sorry to learn of the passing of your Mother Audry. I have many memories as a kid visiting with my Mother and Sister at the house on Sykes street. And coffee/lunch at the Oriental.
