Blackier, Barbara Ellen

Barbara Blackier passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at Meaford Long Term Care Centre on Thursday, May 2nd, 2024 at the age of 71.

Born in Welland, ON on December 22nd, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Margaret and Arthur Fronce.

Barbara was widowed by her beloved husband Barry Blackier.

She was the cherished mother of Richard Fronce, Lisa Fronce, Jaclyn Blackier, Danielle Blackier, Rikki-Lynn Fronce and Grandmother of Lyra Berry and Darious Berry.

She was the dear sister of Douglas Fronce and late Catherine Fronce. Aunt to Tom, David and Jason.

Barbara will be dearly missed by so many close family friends that she touched with her big heart and remembered for being someone you could always count on. Barbara had a laugh and smile you couldn’t forget. Close friend Kimberly Hawman will be remembered for being by her side till the end.  Kimberly’s children; Alexis, Corey and Cypher were very special to Barbara.

A Celebration of Barbara’s Life will take place in the near future at a date to be announced soon.
