Brian helped me to begin learning German earlier this year once I learned that I would be living abroad for a year in Germany. I’ve come a long way in the 6 months that I’ve been here, and I know he would be proud of my progress. I was much looking forward to speak with him when I got back, but now he can watch my exchange year from above.

We would like to send our prayers and sympathies to all of Brian’s family. We have been praying for him over this past while and for you all. In the Word we read Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. We share in your sorrow but also rejoice with you as a dear saint was promoted to glory with his Lord and Savior. In Christian love, your family and friends at Salem Baptist Church, Sackville NB

Praying for all of you during this difficult time. It was always a joy to spend time with Papa Mullin and hear him speak the many languages he learned over the years. We can rest in God’s promises that death is not the end and that we will see him again. Praying that God’s comfort and presence will be so very real to you in this time of grieving. We love you, Ruth, JP, Sandra and Rachel.

    Dear Sandra,
We are so sorry to hear of Brian’s passing. Brian and I attended S.S.#5 elementary school on the 10th! He was a grade under me but we managed to challenge each other anyway! I just knew he would be a great scholar. Our condolences to you and your family. You will have so many wonderful memories to keep him alive in your hearts forever. We are making a donation to our local Outreach (www.churchoutserving.org) here in Simcoe, in Brian’s name.
May Brian be resting in peace.
    Hugs from Lynn (Kentner) Cornfield.

    Dear Mrs. Mullin and Family,

Meaford has lost one of its most gifted men. And I was both shocked and saddened to hear the news.

I recall once, when visiting Olivet with some people from overseas, how Mr. Mullin was able to launch into a conversation in Russian with apparent ease. Or another time when he gave me a quick on-the-spot lesson about the German language. A remarkable individual.

My most profound sympathies to you all.
