Born on May 11th 1928, Bryan passed away peacefully on October 7th, 2024 at the age of 96.

    I only knew Bryan for the past 10 years as a neighbour. We chatted a lot and found we had many common interests. Bryan led an interesting life and I enjoyed our conversations. After moving into long term care, I visited periodically and learned even more about him. My wife and I play duet music at his long term care facility. Bryan attended these events and played his bodhran (drum) along with many of our songs. We could periodically hear him singing with familiar tunes. Music was only one of his many passions. . We will miss him.

    Like Brian Wood, above , my wife and I perform music at Meaford People Care where we came to know Brian and his drum. He was a witty, very bright gentleman with a razor-sharp memory. We often lingered in conversations with him. Very sad to see him go.
