Craig, Cathy Alma Jane (nee Eagles)
It is with sad hearts to announce the passing of Cathy Alma Jane Craig in her Elliot Lake home on January 1, 2026 at the age of 75.

Cathy was born on October 11, 1950 to her parents Joyce Eagles (nee Small) and Donald “Bud” Eagles residing in Meaford, ON. Cathy lived her early life in Meaford where she met her husband Terrie Craig and married on July 29,1967.
Cathy then moved to Scarborough with her husband Terrie where they would have two children Scott, and Tracey.
Later they would move to Unionville, and then finally to Elliot Lake in 2014.
Cathy spent most of her career working with Warner Music. In which she thoroughly enjoyed her position, and all of her coworkers. She kept close contact with her Warner friends even after her retirement.
Cathy enjoyed the quiet life of Elliot Lake, she was always reading, crafting, or catching up on the new television programs. But most of all she enjoyed chatting with her family, and friends over the phone. We will greatly miss the quick catch-up calls, the long heart to hearts, and her incredible advice she would share to us all. She always enjoyed spending time at the family cottage keeping an eye on the kids, and relaxing with a good book.
She will be greatly missed by her Children Scott Craig (Leanne), Tracey Rutledge (Neil), her sister Sharon Grose (Trevor), brother Tom Eagles (Jackie), and Mother in-law Margery Craig (nee Theakston), brother in-law Gerald Craig (Penny), as well as her grandchildren Joshua Rutledge, Ashleigh Rutledge, Riley Craig, and Connor Rutledge.
Cathy is predeceased by her father Donald “Bud” Eagles, her Mother Joyce Eagles (nee Small), sister Brenda Fitzgerald (nee Eagles), and her husband Terrie Craig in 2022.
Her sudden passing will leave a hole in her family and friend’s hearts that words cannot fill. We will greatly miss her strength, and undenying love. We find peace knowing that she has found comfort.
In accordance with Cathy’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a service will be conducted at a later date, to be announced.
