Durham, Charles Edward 'Chuck'
Charles Edward Durham was born on September 26, 1929 in Toronto Ontario and passed away peacefully in Toronto on December 26, 2022.
Predeceased by sister Roma and brother Ronald. As a young boy, growing up in a big city, he came to Meaford through ‘The Fresh Air Fund’ one summer. He ended up staying and living with the late Harry and Estella Gill until adulthood. He then returned to Toronto and had a long career as a deed searcher. In his retirement years, Chuck enjoyed volunteering at St. Francis Table in Toronto.
Beloved “Foster Uncle ” and “Great Uncle ” of Suzanne and Emersyn Gill of Meaford. Uncle Chuck, as he was known, was a huge lover of animals and had a number of very well cared for dogs and cats over the years. He will be remembered as a soft spoken and very kind man.
