Charles James Dunham passed away peacefully at Erringrung Long Term Care in Thornbury on Sunday, May 8th, 2022 in his 84th year.

Born in York, Ontario on November 7th, 1938, Charles was a son of the late Charles and Alice (nee Groulx) Dunham. Charles was the loving father to his four kids, Cindy, Patty, Michael and Chantelle. He was the proud grandfather and great-grandfather. Charles will be missed by his brother Don and sister in-law Hazel Dunham of Waterford. Music was a big part of Charles life and played his keyboard at the nursing home for all the other residents. He had a great love for stock car racing and historical cars. He was predeceased by his stepfather Hank Jean. Cremation has taken place and private family arrangements have been made. Jim was a big part of our Monday Morning Cafe at Meaford Food Bank and Outreach. He loved entertaining everyone with his keyboard and occasionally he would sing for us. Definitely a true gentleman and friend. Condolences to all his family.

Doug and I will miss Jim very much. It was Jim who introduced our music to Meaford. We always enjoyed a conversation, laughs and music with him. Rest In Peace Jim! Forever in our hearts.

I always enjoyed my conversations with Jim at McGinty’s and at community events. He donated his musical talents to the walking club, the Community Cafe and Community meals. Jim will be missed.

Jim was wonderful. He had a heart of gold and donated his time to many good causes such as various senior homes events, and the community cafe on Monday mornings. He was an ‘idea’ man, full of innovate and ingenious ideas. Rest in peace Jim.

Jim was a great addition to our 55+ Club. He played his music for any occasion. He was a very pleasant man to talk to and we enjoyed his company. He will definitely be missed by the Seniors Club Members.

So Sorry to the family for your loss. Jim and I spoke several times a week for years, and had thousands of coffees together, and he always made me laugh. His music was his passion and everyone enjoyed it….he had a magnetic personality and entertained so well. Will miss you JIMMY, everyday forever.
