Brinton, David 'Myles'
Myles Brinton passed away peacefully at Chapman House Hospice in Owen Sound on Monday, June 13, 2022 at the age of 53.

Born in Meaford on June 27, 1968, Myles was the much loved son of David and Bev (nee Fitzsimmons) Brinton.
He was the kind and caring big brother of Chris Brinton.
Myles will be missed by his Uncle Art and his cousins, Tammy and Sarah.
He was the very special friend of Debbie Quibelle.
Myles was a wonderful friend and will be missed tremendously by his many close friends he has gathered and treasured over the years, including his motorcycling and sailing friends. He loved being on his motorcycle, most recently his 1977 Honda. He was an avid sailor and was most happy on the water. Instead of going to college he took an apprenticeship as a chef, where he was extremely successful, graduating from George Brown Collegiate Culinary Course. Most recently Myles was employed as a Retail Meat Cutter at the Foodland Store in Owen Sound.
Myles loved to help people both in or out of trouble. Everything he did, he did with all his might!
This was Myles’ favourite verse: “I have fought a good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7
A funeral service will be conducted at the Cook Street Pentecostal Church in Meaford on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 11 o’clock, with visiting the hour prior to service.
As your expression of sympathy, donations to the Grey Bruce Residential Hospice or the Cook Street Pentecostal Church (cheques only please) would be appreciated and may be made through the Ferguson Funeral Home, 48 Boucher St. E., Meaford, ON N4L 1B9 to whom arrangements have been entrusted. www.fergusonfuneralhomes.ca

So very sorry for your loss. I didn’t know Myles more than to say hello to him at Foodland. Myles was a wonderful mentor to my son Brant in the workplace. Brant doesn’t take a shine to too many people, but he spoke very highly of Myles. I think they had a lot in common. He must have been a wonderful person. My sympathy to all Myles’ loved ones.

Bev, Dave, and Chris,
I am so very sorry to hear about Myles. It seems no time at all that he was a young boy attending MCS where I made his acquaintance. Gentle and quiet, Myles had his own unique way of relating to the world. I remember him fondly and my heart aches for your profound loss. May friends, family, and good memories bring comfort at this difficult time.
