Dear Sharon,Doug, Glen, Bruce and families

Please accept our deepest condolences on the loss of your mother, grandmother and friend. We haven’t seen Evelyn for quite a long time but well remember her warm smile.

We are all creatures of this great earth, interconnected in ways beyond understanding. When one of us passes the rest need to mourn and we will mourn the passing of your mother who raised a wonderful family. May there be comfort in knowing that with a quick thought, the closing of your eyes, the wiping away of a tear, the beating of your heart memories of Evelyn will be there for you always.

Rest in paradise Evelyn you will be missed and never forgotten. You are at peace and that gives us comfort… Until we meet again.

Just wanted to acknowledge the transition of your Mother, Doug. We came to know of her by listening to you and Kathy share with us during our conversations at the Owen Sound Farmer’s Market. Your family history always reminds me of my Meaford Tank Range heritage too. She will leave many good memories and traditions to honour every day.

Thinking of you all as you grieve the loss, yet celebrate the long life, of your mom. As we “mature”, we are happier to see the good attributes of our mother in ourselves, shining outward. Our moms were hearty women of substance – such a blessing! Thoughts and prayers, Jill

Over the last couple years I have often looked in the window at Glenn’s expecting to see your mother wave & than remember she was now with Doug. As a family you did a terrific job in caring for your Mother & you will all miss her. Please except our condolences & know that we will miss her as well.
