Fern was well known in our family with the Brownlee home farm further down the 8th line. She was always so pleasant and kind when having chats with her. Fern was a deeply compassionate and caring person. When Mom, Freda McMurchy was in the hospital for months, Fern spent much time sitting with her daily and often into the late evening. Fern had a quiet presence and provided reassurance to all of us that Mom was with someone she knew. Fern has shown us that angels live among us. My deepest sympathy.
