Shore, Gail Patricia

Born in Toronto on September 17, 1944, a daughter of the late Samuel and Madeleine (nee Preston) Gentile, Gail passed away peacefully at Errinrung Residence in Thornbury on Monday March 2, 2020 at the age of 75.

Gail is survived by her beloved husband Robert Shore of Clarksburg and is remembered as a loving mother by her children and their families: Paul Shore (Francine Comeau) of Beaver Bank NS and children Sulian and Mary Shore; Kathy (Al Mueller) of Waterloo and children Krystal, Laura and her daughter Aria, Erik and Mikayla Mueller;  Debbie (Aaron Okada) of Meaford and son Gabe;  Kelly (Douglas Erwin) of Brooklin and children Casey and Lyra;  and Bill Shore of Toronto.

She will be recalled as a dear sister by brothers Jim Gentile (Jocelyn) of Whitby and Gerry Gentile of Fenelon Falls and as the special aunt to her niece Christin Pirillo of Oshawa. She was predeceased by a nephew Vincent Gentile.

Cremation has taken place and a private family celebration of Gail’s life will take place at a later date.

    I am so saddened by this but what a go she has had. I will always remember that all the men in our family, including my dad, were alike smitten with her. She had a twinkle in her eye and a laugh that was contagious. When my mom was dying, she came every week to see her and she always lifted mom’s spirits.
