Stevens, Howard Francis
Howard passed away peacefully at the Meaford Hospital on Monday, March 10, 2025 at the age of 93.

He was born on July 2, 1931 in Cardiff, England.
Howard was an entrepreneur his entire life. He built apartment buildings, bought and managed a hotel/motel in Burlington, and owned golf courses in both Milton and Owen Sound. Howard bought land and developed a 14-lot subdivision in Chatsworth while he owned the Stone Tree Golf Course in Owen Sound.
He was a great friend and will be missed by his dear friends Mary and Ivan Alderdice. He enjoyed spending time visiting with others but he was also quite happy on his own. Howard was a smart, strong and determined man and a very fair businessman.
In keeping with Howard’s expressed wishes, there will be no service.

I met Howard thru Ivan and Mary Alderdice. He was a very intelligent man. Howard always knew what was going on with the Town Office and surrounding areas. He was a very giving and honest man.
RIP Howard
