I have very many fond memories of my Aunt Joyce. She always took my sister Nancy and I to stay with our grandparents for Easter holidays and always some time every summer. When Nancy and I started working she would take us along with Aunt Beth to Kitchener for back to school shopping. She always took us to the farmers market and bought us treats. She had a great sense of humour. She will always be special to me as I’m her namesake. Rest in peace Aunt Joyce. Love

I always enjoyed visits with Joyce. Angus and I always made a point of visiting her when we came back. She was always happy to see us and usually had her knitted socks to send home with us. We usually had lunch with her and had a laugh or two. Joyce and ‘Bud’ would talk about family and life on the farm. He would remember that Joyce bought him his clothes when he left home to go to Manitouwadge. She would talk about her years at the mill. My thoughts go out to all the family, especially Norma and Beth.

Joyce was such a lovely lady! She loved to walk her dog and loved children. Joyce was a neighbour that became a great friend to us and our children. Our children adored her and loved to spend time with her. We loved hearing her stories of the past and loved celebrating many occasions with her company. She will be miss by many.
