Falls (nee Wonch), June Elva
June passed away peacefully at the Meaford Hospital with family by her side on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at the age of 96.

Born in Thornbury on August 29, 1929.
June was predeceased by her beloved husband Jack Falls in 2021, after 73 years of marriage.
She was the patient and loving mother of Leo Falls (late Mary), Elaine (John Fidler), Bud Falls (Fran), MaryLou (Murray Caswell), and was predeceased by her son Allison ‘Lynn’ Falls. June was a very proud Grandma, Great Grandma and Great Great Grandma.
She is survived by her brothers Colin, Cameron, and Murray Wonch, by her sister Muriel Junk, and will be remembered fondly by their families.
June was a wonderful mother and an extremely hard worker. She worked on the farm, helping with chores and anything else that needed taken care of. She tended the gardens and always made time to prepare preserves and maple syrup so that it would be available year-round. She had the ability to feed many people at one time. June helped with the Rocklyn Fall Fair for many years. She and Jack enjoyed many trips with the Gypsy Campers. Their adventures and travels took them to some great places with their friends.
All are welcome to join June’s family to celebrate her life at the Rocklyn Community Centre on Sunday, October 19, 2025 from 2 until 4 p.m. A private family interment will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in Meaford.
