Everitt, Louise Anne
With broken hearts we share that our Mom, Louise Everitt, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 3rd, 2023 at Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound at the age of 58.

Louise is survived by her loving children Matthew (Kristin), Rebecca (Eric) and James (Sarah). She will be missed by her loving partner, David Bellamy, who held her hand as she passed. Their cats, Frankie and Shadow, will miss her dearly. Owen, Calla and Baby Huard will always remember their ‘Grandma Lou Lou’, as her memories and traditions will be carried on.
Louise is predeceased by her parents Gordon and Dorothy (nee Martyn) Wiley, longtime friends Kim Pelletier and her son Nicholas Abbatiello, and Linda Doyle. She will be fondly remembered by Jonathan Abbatiello, Charlie and Angus Pelletier and David’s family; Muriel and Evan Bellamy, Yvonne Meyers, Karen Bellamy and Elaine Coltman.
Louise was a strong, independent woman who always showed so much pride and compassion for her loved ones. She impacted our growth tremendously and pushed us out of our comfort zones to become the people we are today. We will fondly remember her through her many crafty projects such as crocheting and painting, her love of old cars, specifically her ‘69 Pony and her love for a good cup of tea.
A celebration of Louise’s life will be held this summer, details to follow.

I remember first meeting Louise when I was in grade 6 when she first came to my school which I was also a newbie as I had moved to the area the year before. We became good friends until we went to different middle schools and drifted apart. Within a few years she then became best friends with my sister Kim in high school after working with her at Baskin Robbins. They were inseparable from their first meeting. The two ended up sharing an apartment together and became best friends and sisters in crime! They both ended up being brides maids at each other’s weddings and raising their families together. Louise was a wonderful person, friend, mother, wife and sister. She was the sister my sister never had and I’m sure they’re together again now watching over us all and having a laugh!
I just want to give my condolences to the family. Louise will truly be missed by everyone she touched in this world and it was a better place with her in it!

I’m so sad to hear this news Matt, Rebecca and family.
The one thing I remember about your mom was that she was always so happy and kind. And with a smile like that, I know she will be missed by many.
Sending love, stay strong and I hope in time you’ll be able to look back on those cherished memories with happiness.

I am so sad to hear this news.
As part of the parent council at MMO, we worked on many projects together. Louise was such a hard worker, with so much care and passion wanting to give our students, of our little school, the best opportunities we could. Along with other like-minded parents, she was instrumental in helping us raise substantial funds to support MMO.
This included being able to install an outdoor sign for MMO that is still standing proudly today! It was fun and a pleasure volunteering with Louise.
Thank you, Louise, and may you rest in peace.
Sincerest Condolences to Louise’s family and friends.
