My condolences to David, Darrin and families. Your Mother was a very determined woman. She did very well for herself, for the last six years since your Dad’s passing. She said “I’m NOT ever going to that Nursing Home!!” I guess she received her wish. I’m sure You will miss your duties David. From Peggy’s neighbour Sherry.

The tears I had when I learned my aunt had passed away, were replaced with warm memories of her. She was an amazing woman. Giving so much of herself to so many. She possessed enough love and compassion for hundreds of children and friends. I will never forget her, or her words of wisdom. I am sad for David and Darren, but also feel pride and a little envy, for the were raised by a very wonderful woman.
She will forever be with us in our memories.
    My most sincere condolences.

I am so sorry to hear of my very old friend Peggys passing. We met and lived in a girls home when we were 15 or 16, and she lived with me and my first husband for a while. Her nick name was Ploof, and she was indeed
a lovely person. We kept in touch especially at Christmas time for all these many years after l moved out west.
I know she really felt the loss of her husband Frank, and she loved her sons dearly, my thoughts and prayers go out to them and their families at this time.
    God Bless
    Sincerely Jan Hague

    Dear David, Darren and family:
I’m so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Peggy and I started out working at the Department of Highways around 1954 and soon became really good friends. When I got married and had children, every year she came for her holidays and was the official photographer of my children. My children called per Peggy Pug. Even though we didn’t see each other for the last several years, we always kept in touch through cards and phone calls. She will always have a place in my heart. I know God is taking care of her. With Love, Olive and family.
