Ross, Marjorie 'Ann'
Ann Ross, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 29, 2024, in Collingwood, Ontario.

Born on May 7, 1946 in Midland, Ontario, Ann’s life was marked by her deep commitment to caring for others and her unwavering love for her family.
Ann was predeceased by her loving husband, Richard Faulkner, whom she shared many beautiful years. Ann’s memory is carried forward by her son Tavis Yeats, daughters Lindsay Lake (nee Yeats), and Mackenzie Yeats. She was a cherished “Nan” to her ten grandchildren and a much-loved sister to Ted, Wally and Jamie Ross.
Ann dedicated her life to the care of others as a nurse. She graduated from the Toronto East General Hospital School of Nursing, where she honed her skills and compassionate nature. She began her nursing career serving in the Canadian Armed Forces, a testament to her courage and dedication. She later ended her career with the Victorian Order of Nurses, where her kindness and expertise touched countless lives.
Ann’s boundless kindness and her ability to find humour in any situation will be fondly remembered. Whether through a clever joke or a witty remark, she brought laughter and joy to those around her. Her comedic timing was matched only by her capacity for compassion, making her a cherished friend and a “second mom” to many. Her love for her family was paramount, followed closely by her love for cooking, reading, travelling, dancing, and sewing.
“We love you, Annie!” This heartfelt message sums up the feelings of all who knew and loved Ann. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and all the lives she touched during her remarkable life.
A Celebration of Life for Ann will be held on Friday, May 17th at a farmhouse in Maxwell, ON. Please RSVP at the following website: https://pp.events/av99Q9gb

My heart hurts today for the loss of an old friend. Our VON years together were the very best of my nursing career, Ann was my strength through some tough times. The laughs, stories told, parties had at your family dinning room table. Good thing those walls couldn’t talk. Hugs to all of you, keep your memories close she was an amazing woman.
