It is with heavy hearts that we share that Marlyn Law (nee Gibson) has passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at the age of 78.

Born in Dundee Scotland on September 15, 1947, Marlyn was a loving sister to seven brothers and one sister.  She was a loving wife, mother and aunt. Survived by her husband of 58 years, Derrick Law and her daughter, Sacha Law.

Marlyn will be forever treasured and missed. She always had a smile for everyone and was happy to lend a hand or an ear, she was loved by all who knew her. Her laugh was especially contagious. May she Rest in Peace.

Marlyn had been suffering through dementia the last few years and was well taken care of by the wonderful staff at peopleCare Meaford LTC.

There will be a celebration of Marlyn’s life at a later date.

    To Marlyn’s family
    I am so sorry to read this. When I was working, I saw her
    usually weekly in the downtown core. What a sweetheart, we
    would have a chat, catch up and she had such a contagious laugh.
    Such a joy to talk to.
    She will be deeply missed.
