Ball, Mary
Mary Ball (nee Holt) passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Grey Bruce Health Service in Meaford, in her 96th year.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Leonard Ball, and adored mother to Laurie Ball, Barbara (Douglas) Houston, and the late Peter Ball. She will be incredibly missed by her grandchildren Steven and Stacey, and also her great grandchildren Skyler, Rhory and Rosalie.
Mary was predeceased by her brothers Bill and David, and her sister Joyce Rogers. She was born on August 6, 1927 in Toronto, ON; a much-cherished daughter to the late Harold and Inez Holt.
In her earlier years, she enjoyed golfing, and playing Bridge and Bingo. She has been a lifelong supporter and advocate for animals. A regular and avid antique shopper, Mary thoroughly enjoyed her frequent visits to Thornbury to browse the markets. Every year Mary would visit her daughter Barbara’s trailer on the Saugeen River, with her other daughter Laurie coming along too. Many great memories were made on these annual trips. In her later years Mary developed a love of snowmobiling with her family at Healey Lake.
