Weber, Mary 'Eileen'
Eileen Weber passed away peacefully at Meaford Hospital on Monday, August 17, 2026 at the age of 87.
Born in Flesherton on November 4, 1938, a daughter of the late Fred and Lillian (nee Smart) Ellis.
Eileen was predeceased by her beloved husband Marvin ‘Leith’ Weber.
She was the much-loved mother of Randy Weber (Tracy) and Terry Weber (Raul Selberg), and very proud grandma of Ezekiel Weber, Elizabeth Pansino (Gino Jr.), and great-nana of Kathlynn and Ocktavia.
Eileen will be remembered fondly by her sisters: Fern Gervais (late Marcel), Dianne Shilvock (Ray), Glenda Carson (Ron), Nancy Akitt (Robert), Dale Akins (Bob), Wanda Davidson (late Bev), and predeceased by brother Earl Ellis and sister Elizabeth Ellis. She was a wonderful aunt to many nieces, nephews and their families.
Eileen was raised in Kimberley and had a very close bond with her six sisters and one brother. She married Leith Weber on September 30, 1961 and they lived in Thornbury. She loved to bake and won many awards at the Beaver Valley Fall Fair for her pie-baking skills, and was also a beautiful seamstress and quilter. Eileen truly enjoyed her job with Canada Post in Clarksburg and took great pride in her work. She always took the time to chat and interact with members of the community. She was a dedicated member of Grace United Church and always took the time to chat and interact with members of the community. She will be remembered for her kindness and her friendly smile.
A funeral service will be conducted at Grace United Church in Thornbury, on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 11 o’clock where family and friends will gather to celebrate Eileen’s life. Private inurnment in columbarium at Thornbury-Clarksburg Union Cemetery.
