I can’t believe she died. I still remember that she always came to Tim Horton’s by the CCI to get her coffee all the time. Wow, I really can’t believe. I work at Tim Hortons.

So sorry for your loss, she will be greatly missed. She was great to work with and was missed when she retired but still found the time to chat if I saw her outside on my way home from work. I will miss her

To Mary Ellen’s Family, I am so sorry for your loss. I was her neighbor, I live in the little blue house on the left. She was always such a sweetheart to us and my daughter Natalie. We have only been living in our house for 3 years but it was nice to chat with her every now and then, usually while working in the garden. Thinking of your family at this difficult time.

My deepest condolences to Mary- Ellen’s family. She was a wonderful lady. I was lucky enough to work with Mary Ellen for several years. She brought such light to the workplace with her style and warmth. I met her as a high-school co-op student at the Police Station. I am so grateful to Mary Ellen for her support and kindness. I always looked forward to seeing Mary Ellen, she loved to talk about her grand daughters and always asked to see pictures of my kids. She will be forever missed and never forgotten.

My condolences to Carla and her family. I was shocked to receive your phone call. MaryEllen and I went to Nottawa Elementary school many years ago. For several years during our teens we were inseparable and she was my BFF.Her parents Ruth and Don were so welcoming I felt like I was their third daughter. Don was the strong silent type and Ruth was always cheerful and laughing. She made great dessert! Many times I went with them to Meaford to visit Don’s parents.
Unfortunately after a death in my family I had to move to Guelph. After I finished my R.N. training I moved to western Canada to find a job. Although our paths split MaryEllen was never far from my thoughts and memories; old songs on the radio, eating toasted tomatoe sandwiches and french fry trucks. She was always a kind sweet person and I will miss her . I had planned to spend time with her this fall and reminisce about the old days. This will have to wait until we meet again.
