Still, Mildred Isabelle 'Millie'
Mildred passed away peacefully at Errinrung Nursing Home in Thornbury on Friday, February 6, 2026 at the age of 85.
Born in Duncan, Ontario on September 14, 1939. Mildred was a daughter of the late Percy and Lenora (nee Rear) Sanderson.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Richard Still in 2022.
Mildred will be missed by her daughter Yvonne Hunter-Wickens (Dave Wickens). She was predeceased by her son Everett Fawcett and will be remembered fondly by her daughter-in-law Karan Fawcett, and by her step-children Betty, Kevin, Doug, and Cindy and their families.
Mildred was the proud grandmother of Jorden (Jamie-Lee), Joe (Kristina), Amanda (Mike Baskerville), Michelle Fawcett (Brandy), and Andrew Fawcett. She was the great grandmother of Seth, Everson, Evaleigh, James, Madison and Allie.
Mildred was the dear sister of Thelma, Joyce, Pat, and David, and was predeceased by her siblings Charlie, May and Dianne. She will be remembered fondly by many nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.
Millie was a social butterfly; she loved to get out visiting and looked forward to Sunday drives. She and Richard enjoyed music and dancing. She loved to get together with others to play cards and was always willing to help out when someone needed a ride. She will be missed but will never be forgotten.
A private service of committal and interment will take place at Thornbury-Clarksburg Union Cemetery in the warmer weather.
