Acheson, Peter 'Wayne'
May 30, 1949 - February 18, 2025
Wayne passed away suddenly at Errinrung LTC Thornbury on February 18, 2025 in his 76th year.
He was the son of the late William and Doris (nee Card) Acheson and brother of Jim Acheson.
Wayne will be sorely missed by sister Margaret Stewart, brother Bob Acheson and sister Liz and Neil Banks and also by his many nieces and nephews and friends.
Wayne was always up for an adventure and meeting with his friends for games and fun times. He loved playing country music and singing karaoke.
There will be a celebration of Wayne’s life in the spring so his many friends and relatives can attend.
The family would like to thank Theresa Quinn for all her years of service and support for Wayne, she has been a wonderful friend to Wayne and thought of her as family.
Thank you also to the staff at Errinrung LTC for taking such good care of Wayne during his time there.

Wayne was my dog Jerry’s best friend.! And our very good! I think he lived up trowbridge from us. Daily visits. Sometimes short ball throws.
He would sit w Jerry, and talk. He will be missed. He’s throwing a ball for Jerry right now! Bless you Wayne!
