MacLeod, Robert 'Bob'

Bob MacLeod passed away peacefully at Sunset Manor in Collingwood on Saturday May 23, 2026 in his 80th year.

Born in Meaford on December 10, 1946, he was a son of the late Robert & Blanche (nee Smith) MacLeod.

He will be missed by his wife Peggy (nee Long) MacLeod.

Bob was the proud step-father of Jamie Lewis (Kimberley) and Jason Lewis.

Grandpa Bob will be missed by Emmerley, Kathleen, Peyton, Calvin, Austin, Colton, Jaxon, Emelia and Izabella.

He was the loving brother of Ruth & Ray Lidstone, George (late Colleen), Ray & Elaine, Dorothy Harvey (late Alex), Alice McEachern (late Roy), and Murray and Darlene Smith.

Bob was predeceased by his siblings; Harry, Ed, Mary (late Peter) Harvey and Shirley Richards (late Jack).

He will be fondly remembered by his brothers-in-law; Bev & Leanne Long, Ivan & Heather Long and sisters-in-law Donna MacLeod and Gladys Gibbons.

Uncle Bob will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews and their families.

Bob & Peggy enjoyed attending many cars shows around the area.  They always looked forward to camping at the farm and their yearly anniversary trip to Tobermory to enjoy the sights.  He worked at Stanley Knight’s Hardwood Flooring for many years and made many lifelong friends during his time there.

A private graveside funeral service will be held at the Walter’s Falls Cemetery.
