LeClair, Robert Edward 'Bob Sr.'
Bob LeClair Sr. of Clarksburg passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, November 10, 2024 while he was up north at Pine Needle Hunt Camp with his family doing what he loved at the age of 93.
Born in Toronto on July 28, 1931, a son of the late Gladys Graham and Felix T. LeClair.
Bob was predeceased by his beloved wife, Grace Lillian LeClair (nee Manger) on March 22, 2023.
He was the proud father of Robert LeClair Jr. (Susan Rawn), Grace LeClair Jr., Debra LeClair, George LeClair (Patricia Calder), and Darlene Oliver.
Bob will be missed by 17 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by 2 grandsons, Jason LeClair and Benjamin Oliver, and granddaughter ‘Baby Lanktree’.
Bob is survived by his brothers George LeClair and Gordon LeClair, and his sister Christine LeClair. He was predeceased by his brothers Raymond E. LeClair and Felix LeClair.
Bob was a machinist by trade, and was well respected as the family mechanic and welder. He enjoyed hunting with family and friends and researching ancestry roots. Bob was a Volunteer Fire Fighter with Clarksburg, a Lifetime member of the Thornbury Beaver Valley Lions Club, member of the Great Lakes Metis and the Mud Town Metis, and a member of the Blue Ridge Sportsman Club.
Cremation has taken place, a service celebrating Bob SR. will take place at the Ferguson Funeral Home in Meaford on Saturday November 30, 2024 at 1 p.m.

Sorry to hear of Bob’s passing but he passed doing something he loved.
Bob was a great coummunity person,

Our deepest condolences to all families of Bob Sr. We have known Bob for a long time Both Steve and I worked with him. He was very knowledgeable with machining,welding, and mechanical work.. Bob was a man of his word and said it as it was. And that was what made us appreciate him so much. A good friend we will dearly miss.
