Patterson, Robert Gordon 'Gord'
It is with incredible sadness and broken hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Robert Gordon Patterson on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at the age of 76. The loss of a father is never easy but what stays with you keeps him alive in your heart.
Gord lived a full and happy life. He was an honourable and hardworking man. Gord was a man of many talents and was always up for a new challenge. He loved learning new things and figuring out a problem when something did not work.
Gord was a loving husband and best friend to his wife Arlene (nee Brown) and a father to four children Lynn, Michael, Lisa, and Marie. He was also a loving grandfather to five grandchildren Kyle, Cassandra, Seamus, Ben and Charlie and one great grandson Clayton. He was the brother to Marguerite, Larry (predeceased) and Ron.
Gord is survived by Herbert a loving stepfather. He is predeceased by his parents, Raymond Patterson and Sadie Patterson (nee Cassidy).
Gord is remembered by his friends and family for his stories, advice and big laugh. He will be missed by many.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Gord’s life will be held at a later date.

I am deeply saddened by Gord’s passing and sending love and support to Herb, Arlene and the rest of the family. Gord loved to talk and I will miss the long chats we had on the latest shows we each watched, his current food interests, recipes and cooking. When Moe and I visited we usually brought homemade soup and Gord supplied his wonderful fresh homemade bread. He always had a twinkle in his eyes which I could hear in his voice as I picture him sitting in his favorite chair. There are many fond memories and Gord will be greatly missed.
