Puloski, Ryan Douglas

October 6, 1979 ~ April 27, 2026

It is with profound sadness we share the sudden passing of our beloved Ryan Douglas Puloski on April 27, 2026 at the age of 46.

He is remembered with love and missed by his family; his mother, Belle England, his siblings, Rena Bone (Todd Woodend), Dr. Shannon Puloski (Kylie Kearns), Kevin Puloski (Nadine Doyle), Daniel England (Sky England), brother-in-law, Paul Bone,  his love and best friend Kara McNally, his good friend Jason Ruttan, and a small circle of friends.

He is survived by nieces and nephews Nathan Bone, Avery Bone, Georgia Puloski, Will Puloski, Charlotte Puloski, James England and Charlie England.  And lovingly remembered by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Ryan was born in Kitchener Waterloo and attended schools in Baden, Wasaga Beach, Collingwood and Trios College.  Ryan loved fishing, camping, boating, skiing and snowboarding: he was the fearless little kid on the mountain at Blue.  A curious and mischievous boy – Ryan liked dissembling electronic toys and reassembling them into something new.  Drawn to computer and technical trades, he worked in Calgary, Wasaga Beach and Collingwood where he opened a repair and sales store.

Ryan bravely faced many health issues over the years: Type Two diabetes, Spinal surgery, PTSD, and most recently, pneumonia.

No longer in pain and now at peace in his eternal home, he will be remembered with love and cherished by those who knew him. Ryan will be missed but will never be forgotten.

I’m so sorry to hear this very sad news. I met Ryan years ago when I was worked as a waitress in Collingwood and the first time we met he completely cracked me up with some outrageous comment! Over the years I would run into him around town and always had a good chat for a while. He was always positive and had a great sense of humour despite his struggles. Such a likeable guy. Way too young. My condolences to his family. Rest in peace Ryan.

Ryan was a good friend and playmate to my son when we were neighbours. They played for hours and slept in a tree house at the back of our property. There was also an occasional visit to my aunt next door for some of her famous sugar cookies.
It is truly a sad time and we send our condolences to the entire family.

Thinking a lot about Ryan in recent weeks since he passed away. He will always be one of my closest childhood friends. I am thankful for a lot of great memories with him in public school and high school. Using an aluminum fishing boat on the Nottawasaga River to get around town before we were old enough for a driver’s license on the roads. Going on camping trips and vacations with my family. Parent carpools so we could be on the mountain snowboarding every night as kids, or that summer we took tennis lessons together and would bike down to the Oakview Woods courts. Long before kids had iPads or their own TV’s in a bedroom, Ryan would wire a VCR to a Commodore 64 computer screen to watch movies during sleepovers. He was the kid with a pager in high school, and he sold me my first cell phone (Nortel). He was a wiz with all things related to computers and electronics. Over the years, he took some of my favourite possessions and we shared memories in that as well. He bought my first snowboard a 1991 Nitro Pyro, and my first vehicle, a green 1975 Volkswagen Type 2 bus/van. I would joke that I wish I had never sold either of those items, and he would say the same. We somehow built memories with each other as friends and with items we cherished (like our matching blue sweaters as kids). Life got busy as adults, but we still kept in touch. I am going to miss our chats when I would run into him downtown Collingwood and reminisce about our younger years. To me he was always the same good person I knew so well as a kid. On that note, I am not sure if people ever change too much from who they were as a kid, and deep down, Ryan was always that same fun, curious, intelligent person. Thank you for all of the great memories my friend, and my thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this time. Jason
