Ted was a great guy! He was always laid back, calm, cool and collected. He was the salt of the earth. He embodied the essence of the adage that “still waters run deep”. So sorry, Rob, Brianna and the entire Saunders’ family for your profound loss.

Grade 13, 1968 often found us at Chet Gibbons or Bardeaus pool hall, a spare evolving into a skipped class. Our Cokes and Export A’s were exchanged some 45+ years later to coffee and muffins when I would be visiting my mom, also MNH. Ted was a “good guy”..My condolences extended to the Saunders family.

You will be missed Ted. It was a pleasure to meet you and care for you. Rest peacefully, but not so peacefully because now you can walk and run again. You can eat you favourite food and have that ice cold beer you’ve been dreaming of.

Ted was a great man and father and a step father to me for years as a kid . He taught me a lot , helped me with my school work , helped us with hockey and ringette as well take us to games , he was a good cook . I remember as kids he loved a good storm I hated them and was scared of them , our house got hit by lighting and here is Ted out side walking around just to check that everything was ok with the house . No way any of us would be out there . He was a great man and I will miss a lot ! But he is in a better place . One of my favourite places was going out to grandma and grandpa Saunders farmhouse , much love to the family !

I want to thank everyone for their very kind words. My dad did love all of you and was happiest hanging out and talking with everyone. He did definitely struggle over the past few years and was not himself at all. I have to take to heart that he his in a better place now. Thank you to Sonja and all the nursing home workers for helping my father every day. You are all the unsung hero’s in life.
