Very sad to hear of Uncle Walt’s passing. Uncle Walt was a great man, he and Uncle Alan were great role models in my younger days. I remember helping Uncle Walt and Uncle Al brining in hay on the 9th line north farm. He taught me how to drive the old ford tractor raking hay and how to stouk hay bales. Uncle Walt was a very kind soft spoken man, he will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace. Andy and family

    Doug and Marg.
I have many good memories of Walt. From when I was small child growing up on the 9th line until many years later when we were employed at Bay Ridge Orchards. His kind ways and laid back sense of humor helped me through many busy days. I think of him often.

Walter was a gentle man. I never saw him argue with his wife. I boarded with Walt and Jeanne for 4 months. He helped make this home. When I was joined by my family, they became good friends. We will miss Walt.
