Campbell, Xavier Jason

Xavier, who was born January 24, 2017 at Sunnybrook Hospital, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024 in Meaford.

Xavier was the cherished son of Gaybrielle Alcombrack, a beloved stepson to Timothy Daniels, and an amazing special brother to Remy, Jaxson, Damien, Coby, Dante and Leland.

He will forever be missed by his grandmother, Elizabeth Brasier, and his Nana Donna Anderson. There are not enough ‘thank yous’ for Xavier’s staff and support team. Thank you to Xavier’s EA Maggie at the Bluewater District Community School, thank you for taking him underneath your wing like he was your own and supporting him every step of the way. My family will forever be grateful for all the hard work that you put in. Xavier’s teacher, Ms. Dianne Petznick, thank you for making a special place not only in your heart for him, but in your classroom. Thank you for the encouragement and support each and everyone of you provided, it only helped make him that much more special. Xavier‘s classmates you were like family to him and will forever be remembered as such. You’ll forever be Superheroes in our eyes. Xavier will be remembered forever in a day as the bright-eyed happy boy who had such a beautiful soul and a smile that was infectious. You couldn’t help but smile back and that laugh of his, it’s one you would never forget. He taught us that even though life may seem like the deck is stacked against us you could always overcome it. He might’ve had special needs, but that’s what made him special. He looked at the world in such an innocent manner. It’s crazy. He taught us far more about life than I think we could’ve ever imagined. He lived in light and his energy was intoxicating.

Xavier, not a day will pass by that we won’t miss you and want you near. I promise you we’re going to hold love a little closer in our hearts. I promised you our love for you was forever and a day! My handsome boy, forever and a day it will be! I promise we’ll live in your light and cherish the time we have. Save mommy a seat!  Tell Kenny no beer till you’re of age, and keep them out of trouble. Go do everything that this world restricted you from doing!

So very saddened by the news of Xavier’s passing. Condolences to Xavier’s family, may your cherished memories bring you comfort in this time of great sorrow.
It was a joy to see Xavier in the halls at GBCS but the best part of the school day was on the bus ride home with Xavier and my student. Xavier would always laugh and squeal with delight whenever we went over a bump which made us all smile and laugh along with him. He will be missed.

Sending your family so much love and strength. Xavier and my son were classmates. We often heard adorable stories of the boys being silly to make their friend Xavier and Maggie smile. We will remember his beautiful smile. Rest peacefully sweet boy.

We are so deeply sorry to hear this news!! Xavier and our daughter have been classmates for the past few years. She has loved spending time with Xavier and speaks of him often. Usually about the silly things that she would do just to get a big smile or giggle out of him. He will be forever missed.
Our thoughts are with all of Xavier’s family and friends. We hope you find comfort in the memories that you’ve shared with Xavier to help you through the difficult days ahead. Rest peacefully sweet boy!
