From the Ray Haines family our condolences go out to Sheri and Scott and all members of your family. He was well known and respected by ever one that knew him. For me personally I have a ton of good memories going back to when we were kids working hard on the farms, hunting, fishing and playing a little ball. You have a safe journey and maybe somewhere down the road we will touch base again.

When I began school Laverne lived down the road and we walked to Epping School together. He was older and bigger and could easily have been a bully, but instead he looked out for our safety, taught us how to behave and treated us in a very positive way.
The Haine’s family lost their in a tragic fire. Laverne left school and went to work. He became a very valued employee of Amerock. He was a gifted athlete and excelled at coaching. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. We no longer roam the hills and swamps in the valley, but I will always have wonderful memories of a true sportsman and friend. Ken Risk
