Mitchell, Thomas Clifford

We are heartbroken to announce the sudden passing of our Husband, Son, Father and Grandfather, Thomas Clifford Mitchell, at his home in Thornbury on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at the age of 51.

He is predeceased by his Dad, Clive Schofield, 1993 and Step Father Don Browning, 2021, his Aunts, Edith Marie O’Brien 1955 and Eva Loretto Rabidoux 2012.

Tom is survived by his loving Wife and Forever Angel, Zoe, his boys, Keenan (Tristin), Kollin (Emma-Lee) and Kyelle. His mother Sheila Schofield and his sisters Terri (Bill), Jennifer and Heather (Ryan). His two beautiful Princess Granddaughters Sophia and Scarlett. His Aunts Sharron (Wayne) Hunter and Godmother Cathy O’Brien and his Godfather Thomas O’Brien. His nieces and nephews, Bailey, Tyler, and Larissa, Haley, Sean, Michael. Tom will be dearly missed by his two ‘fur babies’ Dexter and Luna.

Tom was very much a homebody and enjoyed curling up to watch a good movie.  He was an excellent cook and spent many years fishing and taking in the beautiful scenery.  He truly loved time spent with his family, both two legged and four legged.  He will certainly be missed but will never be forgotten.

Cremation has taken place and Tom’s Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday October 28, 2023 at St. George’s Anglican Church from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Tom, man, sorry about your passing!
I’m also very sorry it’s taken me a while to send my condolences!
I remember running in to you and catching up a bit a couple, or a few times back in the day, when we both lived in the Downtown Brampton area.
Man, I wish we could’ve found the time to hang out together some more back then at that time.
I also wish that I knew you were living up in the Meaford area, my Grandparents lived there with their backyard leading right on to the golf course.
Had I known you were living up there, I would’ve made sure to stop by and see you for a bit whenever I was up there visiting them.
Anyways, yeah, so the day back in October of last year, when I heard of your passing through one of our old mutual friends, it was also the day right after I had returned home from the Hospital with my Stage 3 Lung Cancer diagnosis, so yeah, I’d like to apologize again for not saying anything in regards to your unfortunate passing sooner, but with all of the various treatments and what not, which I’ve been having to go through, I just hope that you can understand why.
So anyways, yeah, save me a seat if you can, and I’ll catch up with you again when I get up there with you!

    Dave
