My sincere sympathy to all the Skippen Family,
I have many fond memories of Betty & Clifford and always enjoyed our chats . They were a huge part of the entire Valley and their valuable contribution to our small town life was immeasurable …..a rarity in today’s times. Rest In Peace.

Doug and I had many adventures in our formative years and Betty became like a second mom to me during those times. Always happy to feed me or tell me about all her latest social get-togethers. We had some great laughs together. It is SO ironic that we would both lose our moms within days of each other.
Please accept our condolences and know that we are are thinking of you as you remember Betty.

Betty was one special lady! She would never pass up on giving me a kiss on the cheek ever since I was a knee high from a grasshopper. Loved her to bits!!

Condolences to all of Betty’s family on her passing. Betty was an avid participant at the Grey Federation of Agriculture meetings, always willing to lend a hand. We enjoyed her butter tarts at these meetings and at the curling games in Rocklyn arena as Alan would always bring them. Betty will be missed but never forgotten.
