    Dear Eileen and Family
We were saddened to hear about Sam’s passing, and our hearts go out to you at this difficult time. I have fond memories of how Sam used to drive our group of barbershoppers to Owen Sound for our weekly practice, and how we always gathered at your home for coffee when we returned. Later, we often were pleased to see your vehicle with the licence plate “OUR SAM” as you drove around town. Sam will be sorely missed in the community. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn your loss.
    Sincerely, Norm and Joan Haldane.

Saddened to hear the news of Sam Dinsmore passing , I will always remember him as a quiet , gentle and hard working man.
He was very generous with his time to the BVAA when we were kids growing up. He could always be seen at the arena helping with a hockey tournament or selling tickets etc.
Many times he and Eileen drove us all over the Georgian Bay region to Hockey , Soccer or Baseball .
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this very difficult time but I am sure he is looking down on all of us with a smile very proud of his accomplishments and his family !

    Eileen and family,
Our thoughts are with you and your family as we fondly remember Sam. My memories of Sam go back a long way and include many happy times spent at the old house and the new house. I remember watching Sam and Milne and Bill playing baseball together for Beaver Valley and they were as big sports heroes as any in the major leagues were to me at the time. All fine role models for a young boy! As I grew older I came to know Sam more as a man, the fine, kind and generous man that he was. Susan only came to know Sam later on and always enjoyed his company and the hospitality you both showed to our family. Sam was a stalwart member of the community and he will be missed. Love to you all, Don and Susan Smith

Dear Eileen, Sherry, Mike, Scott and Margie and your families,

I just heard about Sam’s passing, today. Please accept our sincere condolences.

Sam was an icon in the town. His generosity of time and his commitment to his community and his church helped shape the lives of many a young man/woman who had the distinct pleasure of knowing him. I am one of those people.

He taught many people what the word respect really meant. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. I’m sure there are more memories than can be counted to help fill the loss you feel and those memories and his values will continue on for generations no doubt.

If there is to be day to celebrate his life and his family, please include me in that notice.

Our Deepest Sympathies to the entire family.

    Yours Truly,

    Dave & Kathie Valcourt
